Ingredients

- 250g pasta shapes
- 1 tin tuna fish (in brine or water), drained
- 1 small tin sweetcorn
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 75g Cheddar cheese, grated
- 25g butter or margarine
- 25g plain flour
- 250ml semi-skimmed milk
- mixed herbs
- seasoning
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C or gas mark 6.
Boil the pasta for 10 minutes, until tender and then drain it.
To make the sauce, melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan and stir in the flour so that it makes a paste. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly and the sauce will thicken. Turn down the heat and allow the sauce to simmer for 2 minutes, then add seasoning and mixed herbs.
Add the pasta, tuna and vegetables to the sauce and stir the mixture together.
Pour the pasta mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle a little grated cheese over the top and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Other options
