Ingredients

  • 100g plain flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 250ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 tbsp oil

Method

  1. Whisk the flour, egg and milk together to form a smooth batter.

  2. Heat the frying pan with a little oil and pour in a small amount of batter, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan.

  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then carefully toss the pancake and cook the other side, until golden brown.

  4. Try serving with fruit or lemon juice and a small sprinkle of sugar.
