Ingredients

switch to imperial

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 3 rashers lean bacon
  • 1 banana, sliced diagonally
  • 2 tomatoes, halved
  • freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the grill and line a baking tray with foil, brushing the foil with a little oil to stop sticking.

  2. Spread the bacon, banana and tomato evenly over the tray, sprinkle with pepper and grill for 5 minutes until the bacon is crispy.

  3. Serve on a slice of wholemeal toast.



Other options

Substitute the banana with sliced mushroom or pineapple slices.
