Apple and cheese scones

Ingredients
switch to imperial- 100g self-raising flour
- 25g margarine
- 1 apple, grated
- 25g cheese, grated
- 75ml milk
Method
Preheat the oven to 220ÂșC or gas mark 7.
Sieve the flour into a bowl and using your fingertips rub the margarine into the flour.
Next, mix the grated apple and cheese into the flour.
Gradually add the milk mixing thoroughly into a soft dough.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface so that it's about 2cm thick. Then using a round cutter cut out the scone shapes.
Place the scones on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
