Home-made guacamole
Try dipping raw vegetables in home-made guacamole. Avocados are great for you because they're low in saturated fat.
What you'll need:
- Two large, ripe avocados
- 3 cloves of crushed garlic
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- Juice of a lemon
Cut each avocado in half, remove the stone. Scoop the flesh out and mash with a fork. Add the garlic, onion and juice, mix and season with pepper.
Smooth it over
Mix up a few delicious and healthy smoothies for your mates...
You'll need:
- 200g tub of natural low-fat yoghurt
- 3 medium-sized bananas
- 1 handful strawberries or other fruit
- 400ml semi-skimmed milk
Chuck all the ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker and mix until smooth. Find out your mates' favourite fruits to make them each a personalised smoothie!
